Hey There!

It's been a wonderful holiday season so far...in the true spirit of the season we'd like to say " thank you" to all our friends, family and customers! Without you - nothing is possible! We hope you all have a enjoyable and memorable 2010 holiday!

Adding to the Heifer International Donation Promo

Couple of quick notes...we have decided to add another product that is available to purchase in which a portion of the sales ($2 each) will go to Heifer.org. It's our most versatile circle scarf. We are sure of at least 8-10 different ways it can be wore, but we have seen some other new inventions! Also, with summer coming soon, it works as a great Sarong to wear at the beach or pool! In first taking on the idea of starting a business, we discussed that we really wanted to do something to improve the world, as well as make money. Yes, of course, we know that it is very difficult to make a difference in the world today, but we are willing to try! Part of the reasons that The Loop exists is to give a portion of it's sales back to various charities. We want to become a socially responsible retailer. In saying that, we are happy to announce that Heifer International will be our first charity promotion!
We have chosen Heifer International because various times in the past few years, instead of buying a material gift for friends and family, we have given a gift donation in that persons name. We love that HI assists people and families around the world (128 countries, including the U.S.) with gifts of animals that allow them to share their animals’ offspring with others – along with gaining knowledge, resources, and skills.
